Just posting to report a good conversion of Office Home & Student 2007 trial to a retail version. The trial version was on my new computer as OEM and I converted before the trial period was up. I bought the retail version from A...z..n which was less costly than converting from the Microsoft site. I elected to not Uninstall the trial version, and the new version installed just fine from the disc and replaced the trial version. Hopefully I am now set for the next several years with these Office programs. I do like the 2007 version and it has successfully converted my Word and Excel 2002 XP files just fine.
Hope this info is helpful to someone. Cheers....
