[SOLVED] OL Send Error

I sent an email message last night and it seems to be hung up in the Outbox of OL 2003. I got a reply from a addressee that said he'd received 20 copies of it - yet it still sits there being sent. I can't delete it because OL says it's being used. I don't dare open OL least I flood him with 20 more copies...

I suppose I could turn off my network connection and see what happens...

BRB...

Nope...it still won't let me access the file..

And my friend says I have a virus, but AVG says I'm clean...

Maybe more than one problem going on here?

Try going into safe mode, and delete from there.

Also try going to File > Work Offline and then try to delete it.

I was able to go to Safe Mode and delete it.

Turns out I did have a virus - cleaned it. And all is good.

Here's the weird part: it sent multiple emails to only one of the addressees.

Consider this resolved.
