MAINSP1op.msp

I keep getting this message from windows installer, if i press cancel 3 times it goes away and i can work, however, I have office from my conpany, and i have the reg. key, but i can't uninstall office without getting this error, it comes on every time i change a web page, document, etc... it says to look in this path, but i can find it either, my company told me to uninstall office 2003, then reinstall it and it shlould all work, i have the disc and the key code...here's where it tells me to look:

C:\DOCUME~1\ASSOCI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\

Can you help me?
Pete

Re: MAINSP1op.msp

What happens if you just put the CD in? There is a Repair option you can choose if the autorun/install kicks off.

Re: MAINSP1op.msp

Go to Add/Remove Programs, making sure the Show Updates box is checked.

Look for KB907417 and KB892843. Uninstall them, then reboot.

This is the only lead I've been able to find.
