Office 2003 issue
I have a 2003 Office version which I downloaded and installed when I was a student, from the college's website (legally), installed it, and it worked fine. My hard drive started running low on space, so I bought a large capacity HD to replace it. When I moved all the files over, the Office files somehow became corrupted, as they load in the limited use function now. When trying to re-install, I received an error about a missing patch or something. I downloaded and installed the windows installer clean up module, and removed the office link as directed. When I went to reinstall Office, it asked for a product key, which I do not have, as it was embedded in the software that I originally downloaded.
The problem I have now is that I just want to remove everything and go back to my old Office XP version that I have the disc for, but the Office 2003 files are still there, and now without an entry in the add/remove software screen. How can I remove all of the Office 2003 files so I can start cleanly with Office XP? Thanks... -Scott |

Re: Office 2003 issue
Hi Scott,
please check the following website for advice: http://www.officearticles.com/misc/r...om_your_pc.htm If that doesn't work or you still have problems, I'll expect someone from the MS newsgroups will be able to give you step-by-step workarounds: http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.mspx
