Microsoft Office Word 2003

OK, Dire need of help here right now!! :(
Everytime i open MS word, this number "1" always appears at the top left of the screen and when i press enter, i move to the next row and a 2 appears, this continues till the next page and then it restarts a 1 again. How do i get rid of this problem :( plz, essay is due tomorrow morning and i need this program working properaly.

Easy my friend. At the top right of the screen where it displays the positioning and all other formatting tools un-click the one with the number. It should be right next to the one with bullets. It should look like this.

1___
2___
3___

Right next to the

.___
.___
.___

Something like that.

no, sorry not working. have tried that though. Its something different, if i try to add numbering or bullets, they just add beside the number "1"

Any more suggestions :(

Edit:i did a little more looking and whats its doing is labeling the lines as i go down.

ok, THANK GOD I FOUND IT. i click file, page setup.
click the tab layout and look down to line numbers and click it. Deselect "add line numbering" WOOT!!

now... how do i get this setting to save? so i do not have to do this everytime i startup a new word document.

Nicely done. Just applying it should work I think. I'm not too familiar with MS office I use a much alike yet free program.

Hi! My problem is this:
If i print from the local area network, the printer prints
out "Guest". How can i make the printer to print out the name of that computer which from i'm printing. pls help me...
