Transfer Business History data back to Outlook Journal
I'd like to revert back to using Outlook and then uninstall BCM but I can't seem to find a resonably convenient way to transfer Business History items (phone call, notes, etc) to Journal in Outlook without losing the connection to the specific contact.
For example. I go to the Business History display in BCM, select a phone call entry for John Doe and copy it. When I paste it into the Outlook Journal a phone call shows up but it is not connected to John Doe and will not show up under Activities for that contact. If I paste it into John Doe's Contact information it will show up as an icon in the notes window but does not make it into the Journal. The contacts in Outlook were created by copying the information from BCM. I've tried exporting the info from BCM as a .csv but the business history notes do not seem to export. Any ideas?? Thanks, Ski |
