when I open Word, words I typed before always appear
Is there some kind of basic template that is alterable? I mean, every time i open Word some things I wrote before appear, instead of the blank page. Did I somehow affect the basic format of the first page, or what? What can I do to fix it?+
Thanks mucho |

Hi
I Dont really understand, do you want to save the page or delete it. If you want to save the page you have to go int file, and save before closing, Im not sure if this answers your question but good luck, Tony |

Re: when I open Word, words I typed before always appear
Hi,
Easy one and very common Do a search for a file named "normal.dot" Ensure you add in to search hidden and system files This is the name of the blank page template file in M$ Word. The page that comes up and says "document 1" Delete all copies of the file or just rename them. Now restart M$ Word, all should be well. hth Ceri |
