Inconsistency in Public Folders Calendar Outlook/Exchange

I've posted on the techrepublic forums about this, and yesterday I found someone on the MS technet forums with the same issue. Read the two following links for more details on this problem. The techrepublic one has all the details for our specific problem.

I'm at a loss right now. I'm having people coming to me saying that if I can't fix this we need to find another program to use for our calendars. We rely on them so much, if they're all screwed up that can really mess people up.

Any help anyone could give would be much appreciated.
