Outlook 2003 d/l's email then disappears?
Hi guys - first post: found this site by a referral from another site!
I've got a client utilising 5 free pop3 mail address from their chosen ISP. been running fine for years. about the same time as they trade in a laptop and reconfigure that particular email account, all of a sudden that person can't receive emails with attachements.... tested from a number of different sources. It's strage - the progress bar counts off all 650k of the email, then it.... disappears. doesn't go into junk, doesn't go into deleted items. Doesn't look like any rules are set up. I'd say it's the ISP's spam/virus software is it WASN'T being shown as coming down, but it's obviously reaching the laptop. ALSO, another person inthe organisation is now "not receiving emails", but haven't had the time to verify details. Help??! |

Was there outlook upgraded from a previous version of outlook? If so prior to 2003 there was a 2 gig limit on pst sizes. I would suggest backing up all older emails and putting them in an archive folder. Then recreate the pst this time using unicode and see if that solves the problem.
