Outlook Express Problem

My wife uses outlook express for a business. All of the sudden, when she tries to send an E-mail, an error baloon pops up, but there is no text in the baloon. The E-mail does not send, but instead goes directly into the outbox. Then, the outbox sends all E-mails contained therein every five minutes. The E-mails do not show up, however, in the sent items folder.

I've checked all of the tools and options and made sure the appropriate boxes are checked. Any suggestions to fix this problem?

You have already mentioned that you have checked the tools and options but still want to get clear on this point.

Under Tools>Options>Send
Have you checked that the box of
"save copy of sent messages in "sent items" and
"send messages immediately"

I think this should work. Let me know. Thanks :)
