MS WORD 2002 and OUTLOOK 2003

I have these 2 programs installed on the same machine. When I click on the email button within Word it gives me an error message and will not let me email from within word. Is this because of the 2 different years on these programs?

1. Do you have only Word 2002 installed, or the complete MS Office XP?

2. Is Outlook 2003 running when you hit Send?

3. Are all your MS products fully updated/patched?

4. Perform a Search for mapi.dll (including system folders and hidden files & folders) and post back the version of all the MAPI.DLL files you come up with (right-click on the file, Properties, Version tab - it'll be something like 5.5.2174.0).
