Hi Colzie
Must admit I've never seen that before. What is your OS and what version of Excel are you trying to install? Is this a stand alone version of Excel or part of an Office CD?

Hi
Sounds like a compatability issue. What's the location of this download? Did you check it was compatible with XP?

OK - so they are compatible
![]() Did you actually get past the install stage? If so, I would uninstall and download a fresh file, then try installing again. Could just be a corrupt download.

MS does not offer Office as a download. So, I'm gonna say this is pirated, and therefore we cannot help.
If you need a solid spreadsheet program that is compatible with Office, check out www.openoffice.org. |
