MS Access 2003 Problem
I am receiving the error 3078 'The Microsoft Jet Database Engine cannot find the input table <name>. Make sure that it exists and its name is spelled correctly' while trying to run a query.
I ran a mdb file yesterday that had a query or macro that caused a halt error. I closed out of the error and quit the program. I ended up not needed that mdb file so I deleted it since it had the error. Now, when I run completely unrelated new mdb files, I get the jet database engine error when trying to run queries, and the name of the table it is looking for was in the bad mdb file that has been deleted and removed from my pc. I ran the repair utilities and reinstalled office, and still get the error when trying to run a query. I really do not want to reinstall windows, so please tell me there is another option. Thanks in advance. |
