"requesting virus scan" in Exel 2000
Hi,
I would like to know what could be causing this to happen when I open an existing file in Excel 2000. I turned off my A/V and tried it and the same thing happened. I even tried to reinstall the program, that didn't help. I also tried to rename the file, same thing happens. the file eventually opens, but it has to go through this step of "requesting virus scan..." first. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
