Hi Everyone! This is my first post, so I just wanted to hello to everyone. I hope to become an active part of the community! Anyway so here is my problem I was hoping you all could help me with!
I set up a small network at work with a Network Attached Storage drive. The company has this REALLY old program that they use that was written in Visual Fox Pro (i think version 2.0?). So the problem is that when you run the FoxPro program from a local hard drive it works just fine.....but if I copy the folder to the network drive and try to run it from there (on the same comptuer) it brings up a "cannot locate visual foxpro support library" error. The weird thing is that you can copy the program to a CD and it runs fine off the cd....and it used to be on a shared drive on a co-workers computer and it would run find of off that. Just a little about my setup....Windows XP Pro, Using a mapped network drive (Z:) to the NAS. Any ideas would be truely appreciated!! Thanks so much! /Andrew |
