Multiple OE Users/Accounts on computer

Is it possible to run multiple Outlook Express users/accounts on one computer? In other words, can I set up multiple versions of OE with different email accounts, so each user can open, save, etc. their email on the same machine? I was hoping to do this without using individual log-ons and profiles for each person. In this case the operating system is MS Windows 98, but the same question applies to XP also. Thanks for your help in advance!

I don't know of any way to do this within one user account, but you could set up folders in OE so that each person's mail goes into their own folder. If each user has their own mail account (own e-mail adress), then each user will also have their own inbox, outbox, etc. But if you want more advanced options, I would use MS Outlook.

Hi there..

You can create multiple identities for different users in Outlook Express and this would work with both Windows 98 and XP.

Whilst in OE, click:
- File
- Identities
- Add New Identity
- You can then create a name for the profile and a password
- Once you have created all the identities you need, all you then have to do is configure each one so it connects to the correct account.
