Hi guys
We've implemented MS Exchange 2003 few weeks back and facing few technical issues now. Our main problem is, our remote users cannot send mails using clients such as MS Outlook or Outlook Express, but they can receive mails. Is there any settings can be done at the MS Exchange server end to facilitate remote users to receive and send mails using mail clients? SMTP Relay access pannel shows a list of LAN address ranges and "Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above" checked. What does it actually mean? Thanks in advance

"All expect the list below" and "Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above" options under "Default SMTP virtual server" nod solved my problems allowing remote users to receive and send mails using email clients.
Now I am curious to know whether I am inviting any security issues by this. Thanks & regards
