Cursor and pointer issues In Word
Hey all,
Im on Word 2002 and wondering about this annoying thing happening. Its one of those stupid little things but hard to actually explain right. When Im working on a document I sometimes get this: I will click on the area I want to edit, (add text, or just general editing) and once Ive used anything on the keyboard like the space bar or keys for text entry, my pointer or rather that "I" that is there instead of your pointer, disappears and so when I want to change the cursor position I have to click somewhere in the document to bring the mouse "I" back, OR so it seems I have to move my mouse a certain distance to the edge of the screen and it will come back that way as a white pointer Sometimes the white arrowhead will stay as an arrowhead when I move the mouse over the text area and sometimes it changes into that "I" again. I cant for the life of me get any consistency or figure out what's going on here. Does anyone else get this? This is getting to be very old very fast. ![]() Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Music. |

Yep. This is usually a setting on your PC.
See the very last thing on this page: http://www.officearticles.com/word/m...osoft_word.htm While the article does NOT address your specific issue, that fix does. :) |
