MS Access - Database ASP help?

Hello everyone, this is my first post here - this looks like a great online community.. any help is appriciated. here is my problem...

at my work we administor exams and quizes for disabled students. there is alot of paper work for each exam.... all the data right now is recorded on paper and then later transfered onto an excel sheet - which is now getting real messy and is hard to keep track of logs

i wanted to store all the info in MS ACCESS and that wans't a problem.. now i wanted to create a simple web-based input method so ppl on the local intranet at work can input all info to one database
i've been playing around with asp but with no luck

any sugguestions would be greatly appriciated.

In fact, it is the question about web-based application. You better post it in the web-serving or programming section next time.

For my suggestion,

You need setup one PC running Windows XP Professional Edition (it is a must as it need IIS platform running). Linux is not very good solution as there is still some uncertainity running ASP code.

Then, that PC act as central data store and source code placed in the IIS for mulitiple user access. For IIS deployment and implemenation, you better locate your own reference as it cannot cover lots of detail here.

Once setup, user can operated by web browser (IE is guranteed work) to perform data manipulation and program function.

But if there are many many users input at the concurrent time, I suggest you consider SQL Server database.

For book reference, I recommend the publisher WROX. This is helpful and easy to learners.
