Dont Use Ie!!!

If you all are having problems with internet explorer... heres the best solution for everything. Dont use it, I would suggest using Mozilla Firefox or Slimbrowser. Both can be found at www.downloads.com ... If its that you dont like the way they are set up... Heres a heads up... the newest IE is going to be based off of Mozilla Firefox so it will be a problem when that comes out. Thats my Suggestion

My System

I have never had any problems with IE.
If you have a good firewall and virus protection and don't download everything under the sun you shouldn't have any problems.
Yea sure IE may have security flaws, but if Mozilla, Slimbrowser, etc was being used by over 80% of the PC world they would have the same problems.

anyways:

You contradicting yourself.
You are saying that the new IE is based off of Mozilla so it will be a problem. So why are you praising Mozilla if it is a problem?

Hi,

I know that some have troubles with IE, the same as some have trouble with Firefox or Opera. However, I have all three on my machines and to be quite honest, the differences don't impress me a lot, because I don't have troubles with any of them including IE. Each has unique features that I like over the other two.

In my opinion, IE is a quality program that more people complain about because it is the most used of any browser. Here is the way I see this issue:

If there are 1 million people (small sample) in a set group using IE, 10,000 using Firefox, and 1000 using opera, then the complaints are going to reflect that. In the same vein, if you get a 5% compliant rate for each, the number of comlaints for IE will overwhelm the others and the complaints about Foxfire would overwhelm Opera. I think that needs to be taken into consideration when you see so many IE concerns.

Anyway, not disagreeing with you, but there is another side to this story that one needs to look at when discussing this issue. My experience has been excellent with IE.

This is not to diminish the role of either Firefox or Opera, because both have excellent qualities.
