IE6 Freezes on "Clear Forms"?

IE6 SP2 freezes when I do: Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete-Clear Forms. I've gone through the troubleshooting recommendations of verifying all updates are done, sweeping with SpySweeper and AdAware, and disabling Add-Ons, and still it freezes. Help, please

Try in safe mode. Go to control panel / internet options / content / autocomplete

Thanks oshwyn5. Tried this exact sequence in Safe Mode and it doesn't freeze, but it also doesn't clear the forms. When I reboot normally and try it again, it freezes again. What would you try next?
