IE Toolbar problem

Hi

I am unable to obtain a full screen view using the F11 key - all it does is squash up the lines a bit. My laptop has the same toolbar items and this worlks fine.

I have tried editing the ITBar Layout in the registry but it just re-creates the same problem.

Any ideas on what the cause might be and a possible solution?

Windows XP Home SP2 and IE6 - all updated.

Hi

Problem resolved. I uninstalled all the IE Toolbar extras that I had in Safe Mode and after a reboot everything works fine.

I then downloaded and installed the extras again and after installation; no problems.

Must have been a corrupt programme.

Ever want it really big? Try going to start / run and type
iexplore -k
hit enter (note space between iexplorer and -k) to run internet explorer in kiosk mode. NO address bar, no toolbars, nothing.
To close it you hit alt+F4

To open it to a specific url it is
start / run
iexplore -k url
where you put in the url where I wrote url
(like http:\\www.abiword.com)

My System

Hi

That's a useful tip. However, I only use the full screen mode when visiting my imaging forums to view photos and the F11 key leave me with a full screen view apart from just the top line of IE which loses very little.

Thanks anyway.
