how to reinstate the Logos in my Favorites
Hello Guys!
For some weird reason today all my ".com logos" in my Favorites in I-E, (I am using the latest version ) has changed to these "e" which I hate. For example if some of you save this tech support address in your favorites, it will show a blue square box with red diagonally T I F in the center, well mine just change to an ugly "e". Can you please help me to restore them Thanks Mark |

Have you tried doing a system restore to an earlier date when the icons did show up? If not, try that. I'm not 100% sure If that will work though.
If you are going to do this, make sure you backup any new files. Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Last edited by RickH6; 01-09-2006 at 11:29 AM. |

These are called favicons. They are Icons for Favorites. They are stored in your temp internet files along with cookies from the site. This is so that if you dump your temp internet files or the cookie expires you will loose your cute icon and feel a urgent desire to revisit their site to get it back. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Interne...s/favorg.shtml Favorg is a program which will fetch and cache these and redirect your favorites to look for them in its cache and not let them expire.
