Thumbs Down Site Certificate Alerts

Is there anyway to turn off the security alerts for site certificates ? There are several websites that I go to dialy to conduct business and I always have to click proceed on this pop up window to get passed the security alert.

I don' think there has ever been a time where I have clicked NO when asked if I wanted to proceed.

I have everying unchecked under tools/internet options/advanced and down to security options, EXCEPT USE 2.0 SSL and USE 3.0 SSL. If I uncheck these boxes I get a "page cannot be displayed" error.

Any ideas ?
Keith

Right click IE on your Desktop and choose Properties/Advanced and scroll down to Security.

Yes, my time and date are set correctly. And I update my Windows XP regularly.

pony86: When I right click on my IE on the desktop and click properties, there is an advanced tab but there is no security settings located there.

What am I missing ?

Oshywn,

I have unchecked that security box and nothing has changed. I still get the certificated alerts.

Any other ideas ?
