Hi
Go up to Tools>Internet options and delete cookies and temporary files then on the Programs tab check 'Reset Websettings' followed by 'Restore defaults' on the Advanced tab. Run Housecall:- http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ Then with your XP CD in a drive, go to Start>Run and type sfc /scannow and press Enter key - allow the file checker to verify and replace any lost or damaged IE files - when done it will just exit with no message. If the above doesn't help, have a read here:- http://www.greyknight17.com/spyware.htm If following the above you are still stuck with this problem, follow the advice here* and do a HJT post if necessary. *http://www.techsupportforum.com/showthread.php?t=15968 Peter |
