Help got problem with my internet browser

My internet is acting weird everytime i try to do something or refresh the internet browser just closes the window and sometimes the icons on a website does not appear when it is suppose to it has never done this before plz Help thank you

Hi

Go up to Tools>Internet options and delete cookies and temporary files then on the Programs tab check 'Reset Websettings' followed by 'Restore defaults' on the Advanced tab.

Run Housecall:-
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Then with your XP CD in a drive, go to Start>Run and type sfc /scannow and press Enter key - allow the file checker to verify and replace any lost or damaged IE files - when done it will just exit with no message.
