need some help

I recieved an email from work and it has an attatchment on it
that i cannot open , it say it is a .php document,

it let me open a little of it in notepad but alot of it was encrypted,
any suggestions is there something in need to download to view this?

You can usually read a PHP file properly formatted in wordpad.
