server busy error message
I run Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer 6. I also have cable internet (didn't know if that would be helpful or not).
Out of nowhere, I started receiving an error message when using Explorer. The box says "Server Busy", and inside it says the program is not responding and to choose "switch to" and close the other program. It does this whether something else is running or not, and it locks up everything. If I click "switch to", it opens my start menu. If I chose "retry" the same error message pops up over and over. I have run Norton and Microsoft Antispyware and found nothing. I'm lost. Thanks in advance for any help. Niece |

I have been getting the same message and have not yet found a way to prevent this. Very irritating!! Does anyone know how to stop this? Also, I'd like to prevent new web pages from opening - they self start a new IE page(like a new flavor of pop-ups). I stopped using IE as a browser for this reason, but these sites launch themselves and IE on their own.
