IE & Clipboard Vulnerability

Has anyone else heard about this?

I'm not sure if it is a genuine vulnerability in I.E or not. I've tried it out and it seems to be genuine. I would like to get some more information about it, anyone else heard / seen this problem?

I've followed the steps on the below page to disable the specific pasting option in I.E and it seems to work.

I haven't seen this before, but the clipboard text doesn't show up in Firefox, even with java enabled.

Yes, Firefox doesn't have the problem it seems, I guess that's leaky I.E for you!

Anyway, I've since found out that this is infact a old issue which has been round since about 2002.... check out the revised MS KB article on it:

Let's hope when I.E 7 arrives its doesn't leak like a sive...
