Shodlc.dll/dnserror.htm

Hi!

I have problem trying to use IE and this error appears at the bottom
shodlc.dll.dnserror.htm and the page cannot be displayes appears when I access the any page. ALso when i try to see my IP address from the commnad prompt using the ipconfig /all nothing come out just a message tell me that i need to contact microsoft provider

What can I do about it? I will apreciate you help
Also how can I prevent this problem in the future is any software i need to use to prevent error like this.

Can you tell me what it is and how i got this shdolc.dll error

I'm using XP

I saw someone else solved this problem using WinSock Fix . Try running Ad-Aware SE.
