Confused deleting the typed things in search engines?

hey,

how do i clear all the things i have typed in any search engines? like there are a lot of things that drop down when i type some letters in google search. and i don't want to see them.

Hi,

Pip22, nice link. I knew how to do that, but had not seen the clear link like that, so thanks for that.

Also happy, if you don't choose to turn it off and want to keep it clean when you search, simply move the curser down on the drop down that you want to be gone and hit delete....they will also be gone this way until you choose to visit that site again. However, if you turn it off, they will always be gone. I leave mine on for the many sites or searches that I return to, but you can choose what is best for you.
