runtime error! can anyone help

Could anyone help me clear this error.

when I try to start up internet explorer, and when I click on any link on the internet I get the messege:

microsoft visual c++ runtime library

runtime error!

Program c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way
please contact the applications support team for more information

Tried to contact microsoft, but needed to use links in the process so couldn't do it.

Can anyone help

I would try this vbrun60sp5.exe. You can obtain this file from the MS KB site.

Unload Google Toolbar

This just started happening to me...unload the google toolbar if you are using it and all is well. Found this elsewhere in the forum and it worked!
