I have recently been visiting the following website: http://www.cobaltpeak.com.au/imagine...ubmissions.htm
On this page, there are supposed to be images that appear above the names of their authors. They should act as links to a larger version of the picture. The problem is, on my computer, I cannot even see any evidence of these thumbnails existing on this webpage. I know they should be there because I've looked at the source code and also seen them on another computer in the library at school, but they don't appear on mine. I believe there is a problem with my computer settings, but I can't seem to find it. I've emailed the site administrator and creator, but he seems wary of telling me to disable any settings that might cause harm to my computer, which I can understand, but I also really want to figure out this problem. I run on windows XP Professional, with IE 6 and Norton Systemworks (including internet security and antivirus). I have tried disabling the pop-up blocker in IE 6 and refreshing. I have tried disabling Norton Internet Security altogether. I have tried turning off just the ad and pop-up blocker in Norton. I have also tried combinations of all these three options. Nothing seems to be working. Is there something I am overlooking?? As I have said, I have seen this website work properly in an outside computer, but I have no access or idea as to what its settings are.HELP!!! |

you should be able to clear out your temp folders, along with IE's cache and then it should all work.
this sometimes happens.

I went ahead and tried clearing out the temporary files and cookies by going under the tools menu, then internet options, then refreshing, but still nothing is happening?
Does anyone have any other suggestions? |
