Having Problems seeing ads...

Hello.
I am running on Win XP and up until a few days ago I could view ads that were posted on a political forum I have been a member of for over two years. The forum uses YaBB 1 Gold - SP 1.3.1
and Ive heard there are lots of problem with that particular software. But as I said, ive never had problems seeing ads before. I was told about this help site and hope Ive given enough information to help you help me..

What's your browser? Have you installed some security app that could be blocking ads? Also, post the URL of that forum.

My System

Does the same thing happen on other sites?
As 101 says, it could be a security app. I don't know if MSN or Norton can hide ads, but check your firewall settings to see if ads/popups are being blocked.

If by Norton you mean Norton Internet Security, it has an ad blocker. Search in NIS options for 'ad blocking' to disable it. Also, clear your browser's cache and cookies, here's how for MSN Explorer.
