Cannot Open a link new window

If I right click on a link and try to Open In New Window my page freezes for about a minute.
Strangely if I quickly attempt to close the original page (right click - Close)the new Window will open.

I am also unable to open certain links form e-mails.

I don't know if anyone can help, but it would appear other members are having similar problems.

How much RAM do you have in your machine and what is your processor speed?

Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, General tab.

Have you installed and run AdawareSE?
