IE wont redirect to another page

When logging in to ebay i get a message saying your browser security settings are preventing you from redirecting

I cant seem to find the right setting to change, please help.

yea i get the same when opening msn explorer,,,i messed with the security settings, i entered msn as a trusted site, beats me..i think it started with sp2 upgrade...or with microsofts antispy...

With XP SP2, do not forget to look closely at the information bar right below the address line.

You may also want to consider an alternate browser like Mozilla Firefox at this link:

http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

In many folks eyes, Firefox is much better than IE!

I keep IE only for MS updates!

james, im sorry, i dont see what you mean by the information bar, the address is the msn. hot mail blah blah...but i am missing what you mean....wait let me get on without aol...hmmm naa, the same line about running activex controls and the video might not display properly...only on msn explorer

If you have loaded Service Pack 2 for XP, MS has tightened up the security quite a bit. They now have a banner bar right below the address line that gives information if you click on the bar. You might need to load Active X and it may indicate it is blocking or keeping something from happening.

Its a little hard for me to explain, but this banner appears to be new to SP2.
