Problems when refreshing

Hi

My IE is acting funny since about a few weeks ago.
Whenever I refresh a page, it losts all if not most formatting.
But when I visited the page from a link, it shows up fine.
So e.g. when I clicked a link from Google to this forum, it shows up perfectly. But if I click the refresh button, the text and pictures are all over the place.

Can someone tell me what might be going on here?

Any suggestions is much appreciated.

It sounds like dropped packets, but I'd expect it to affect initial loads too. Have you changed the system configuration, perhaps around the time the problem started? How about cleaning out your Internet cache? Virus and spyware scans seem like a good idea here too.

What do you mean by Internet cache? Is it Internet temporary files?
If not, how do I clear the Internet cache?

Yes, I'm talking about the Internet Temporary Files.
