Yahoo mail causes loss of Internet connection with IE 7
I am able to access Yahoo mail using the AOL browser but not using IE 7.
I had been using an AOL dialup connection prior to getting Comcast Broadband and did not have this problem. As Comcast uses Internet Explorer as their primary browser, I naturally shifted to IE 7 which I rarely used previously. I get disconnected from the Internet almost immediately after Mail page opens. Somtimes it will remain open for up to a minute. Other Yahoo sites work fine after I log in. Yahoo mail is not a problem with our other laptop. Both run Windows XP and are using the same wired router and have the identical antivirus, antispyware and firewall applications. Thank you in advance to all who take the time to read and respond. |
