'login_err' is undefined
Hi,
I am using IE 6 on a XP Professional laptop. I am trying to log in to a government contracting website and when I populate all of the required fields, I receive an error icon on the lower left corner of the IE window. It says: Line: 94 Char: 1 'login_err' is undefined Code: 0 I have tried using CCleaner because I've read that it might be a registry error. I have tried enabling the Security Settings in Internet Options (solved another error unrelated to this problem). I have tried one of the Common Fixes in this forum: # regsvr32 urlmon.dll # regsvr32 actxprxy.dll # regsvr32 shdocvw.dll # regsvr32 mshtml.dll # regsvr32 browseui.dll # regsvr32 jscript.dll # regsvr32 vbscript.dll # regsvr32 oleaut32.dll Also downloaded the IEdll.zip and executed the IEdll.bat file. All to no avail. I have also tried calling the govt contractor's Service Desk and they do not know what is causing the error. Their guess was that it could be a firewall blocking my connection. Could this be a possibility? I just wanted to make sure that I have tried everything I could on IE before escalating this issue. Thank you, James |
