I'm unable to close most browser windows (very occasionally it lets me) - either tabs or windows.
When I press the 'x' I get a dialog box saying Internet Explorer has stopped working. Fair enough, bit of a nuisance but since the last set of MS updates I now get the tabs and windows automatically recovered. This means every time I close a window it recovers it, meaning I never get the window - or tab - closed without using ctrl-alt-del and task manager. Any ideas greatly appreciated! Dave |

Re: Automatic recovery stops any IE windows being closed
Why not just uninstall IE8 and reboot.
Then, if you really like it, reinstall it.
