internet options question
I have Windows XP and it’s running slow so I want to delete my browsing history on Internet Explorer. I’m not sure of the options; the default is: Preserve Favorites website data, Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History. Should I check off the Form data, Passwords and InPrivate Filtering data? I’m not sure what these do or if they will help my computer run any faster. I have Windows XP with Service Pac 7 (I'm not sure of the service pac I don't know how to check) Thanks for any help. Rick

Re: internet options question
Generally I use the delete all button on the bottom.
I have never had a problem. Just remember to know any passwords that you have stored just in case. Many web sites like this one keep you logged in via a cookie. Next time you come here you will have to type your name and password. |
