Change IE8 Type rating from 'important' to 'optional'
As an IT manager, consultant, and technician, I am increasingly frustrated with the severity of issues being created by what is obviously a product that is not ready for general release to the public.
Please downgrade the Type rating for IE8 from 'important' to 'optional', so that my staff, our clients, and our business can disregard IE8, until such time as Microsoft corrects the issues with IE8. You wouldn't buy a car that breaks down everytime you turn on the ignition. Why would Microsoft push IE8 when it is defective to begin with? Company policy for our business is to remove all IE8 products, revert to IE7 for the moment until we consider moving to another browser. Last edited by t42592; 08-20-2009 at 04:28 PM. |
