Faulty pagehandling IE with Vista Home Premium
hi,
I bought me a new pc last week, a packard bell imax 8400, with Vista Home Premium installed. After some updating (service packs and the latest version of all the usual plugins) it works quick and smoothly. But when going on the net there are some troubles like: - the startpage of Facebook won't load. I can click and choose all other choices but cannot add any message or click a button. - some pages load but fail to have a layout (so I can see pics and links only, all stacked in a long up and down order) - removing a message in hotmail doen'st work, you van select it but nothing happens when you clik on remove. At first I thought this had to do with Java so I updated that but it has no effect. I've tried several other browsers. For instance, Opera does load the startpage of facebook but again a cannot add any comment or what so ever. On my old pc I had XP and Firefox and everything worked perfectly well. So there must be something going on with vista and its handling of the internet. I'm not expert enougt to know what kind of programminglanguage is used to add the functionality in facebook like adding comments. Is het php? Comments, tips and tricks welcome. tnx Erwin |
