DDS log interpretation
can someone attempt to tell me what the following event viewer message from DDS script means?
==== Event Viewer Messages From Past Week ======== 07/08/09 11:17:09 PM, error: Service Control Manager [7031] - The Windows Defender service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 15000 milliseconds: Restart the service. 07/06/09 11:05:37 PM, error: MRxSmb [8003] - The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer MCCROSKEY that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{4F41D816-9D19-4DE0. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced. ==== End Of File =========================== I am running xp pro on a server 2000 workgroup enviroment with 4 other computers. the computer MCCROSKEY is one of the other 4. Currently IE7 freezes and has to be manually shut down upon startup. Startup IE7 without addons works fine. But i cannot isolate which addon is problem as disabling of all unregistered provides no change. Malware scan reports no problems. |
