[SOLVED] IE8 opens two browsers

Hi

Ie8 opens two browsers randomly, one is the one I want the other usually goes to a browser that wont open properly and eventually wants to close itself.

I've checked all my pop-up and privacy settings.

I would run a spyware scan with a couple good scanners.

Also try clicking start>all programs>accessories>system tools>Internet Explorer
(no add ons) and see if the extra window pops up.

You have a lot of BHOs and some do not look too good.

I use spybot s&d which I've run several times, but this annoying 'popup' keeps coming up.
Can I delete a BHO?

Didn't have any problems with IE without addons.

You can reset IE back to default by clicking tools Internet Options the advanced tab then selecting reset not the reset advanced settings and when you are asked if you are sure say yes you will want to startup Spybot after your reset and update it then run the immunize again.

Although I am not certain I do know that is not something that is desirable on your system or needed and I would think that if it was not the only thing that caused it a huge part of it was caused by it.
