EEK! MODERATOR: Should I upgrade from IE6

I've been accessing Ancesrty.com with IE6 and many times I attempt an action on family tree I get this notifier saying I should upgrade to IE8.

Ancestry is the only site I have had trouble with, so far. Reading the horror stories over the past years with 7, and now 8, I always refuse the updates as they come in.

I thought it might be a good idea to ask:

Is Retro-life truly a good bet for a while?

Please help.
Thanks in advance

IE 7 is quite stable and IE 8 is getting there. I would suggest moving to IE7 first run it, learn it then a 6 months to move to IE 8 or try google chrome or FireFox. IE6 has a crap ton of security holes in it. I am surprised your not over run with viruses and malware.
