W7 - NO REASON: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage Error
Hi, this is my first post here and I feel force to post it after reading and trying everything that I found on the web.
Here is my specs: Windows 7 RC Build 7100 1GB Ram P4 m (Pretty old laptop) Anyhow.. here is the deal.... One day out of nowhere as soon as I opened IE8 (Which comes with Windows 7) I received the Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage Error. This happens every time I try to open any web page! (And I mean ANY) what id does: it kind of looks like loading for a sec and then either: 1- Displays Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage OR 2- Keep loading forever and show a completely blank page I tried reseting, uninstall and reinstall IE8 (can do in W7 as Feature), reboot like a zillion times, etc. Even tried the No-pluggin IE8 that comes on tools. I had no antivirus at the time this problem appeared. Now I do, I though maybe a virus or something. What else I re-check: Correct IP address Correct DNS Servers I was forced to install another browser (Wont say which one) and thats where Im posting right now. So yes.. I DO NOT HAVE A CONNECTION PROBLEM. I run the connection diagnostics and says everything is fine... but still cant load any web page. I cant think of anything else, does anyone has a clue on whats going on?? Thanks Last edited by frochin; 06-27-2009 at 09:38 PM. |
