IE8 vista showing blank page often

I am working on a website running Tomcat and JSP and Window Server 2003. Server config is kept as the same.
Recently we test the site on client computer with vista(SP2) + IE 8, it often give blank page on some frames.

On occurance of this, we try fiddler to see if any information can be caught. We found everytime a blank page occur, that packet is compressed (gzip) and have empty content like this:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Date Wed, 17 Jun 2009 08:27:03 GMT
Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1

I know this occur occationally on other website , OS and other version or brand of browser (e.g. XP SP3 with IE7, IE8, FF or Chrome 2, Vista SP1/SP2 with Chrome) also but not that often.

So I am wondering if anyone have idea on this issue?
e.g. What is the root cause of this problm or how can I gather more information to solve this kind of problem (not knowing if it is server problem or client problem)
