IE7 or 8 link open new window closes browser
I My IE7 was working just fine until I downloaded my free trial of Norton 360 2 months ago.
If I click on a link that opens a new window, the window opens but the original browser window closes. I solved the problem for a while by adding the websites I use that open links in new windows to the allow pop up windows. Then, I bought the norton360. This fix no longer worked. I even removed all the addresses and added them back. I still can't open a new window from the open browser without it closing the open browser. Next, I uninstalled norton360. That didn't work. Then I installed IE8. That didn't work. Now I am seeking help. It is really annoying. I am at work now but I will try any suggestions at home this evening. Vicky |
