IE extremely slow startup...

I am also having problems with IE8 slowing down my machine. I did a system restore to remove IE8 and now IE7 is not working. When I try to hit the internet it flashes and closes.

I tried the add/remove but when highlighted it does not show the remove option.

Please, any ideas?

Re: IE extremely slow startup...

If you have installed Service Pack 3, remove it and then re-install IE7. For some reason that SP causes problems with internet explorer.
