Adobe Flash 10b.ocx ERROR!
Hi all,
This will be the 1st post for me. Now here's my problem: When I play a certain web game (Facebook Poker), the web page MAY crash after a while and I receive a text message descripting an error in the extension (.dll-file) Flash 10b.ocx. This has happened to me some times now (especially when I'm about to win). I'm forced to click "Continue", which exits all my bars (because I'm using IE v. 7), often when I've found something interesting on the net. I've tried to deactivate the .dll-file in the "manage add-ons", deleting the ActiveX updater and uninstalling/re-installing the Shockwave/Adobe Flash Player, but to no avail... Therefore I turn to you for better luck. Thanks in advance! |

Re: Adobe Flash 10b.ocx ERROR!
OK,
I copied the file ("Flash10b.ocx", no "Flash9.ocx" found) and pasted it into the same folder. Now it says "Flash10b.ocx" and "Copy of Flash10b.ocx", but no "Flash.ocx"... It may work anyway (I haven't tested yet). =) |

Re: Adobe Flash 10b.ocx ERROR!
This is symptomatic of why so many have lost confidence in Microsoft. When asked the solution to "Adobe Flash 10b.ocx ERROR!" the Microsoft tech goes off on a rant about Flash9b.ocx, does not address the Flash10b.ocx issue, the very topic of this thread and even worse, when nobody can find the Flash9b.ocx as directed by the Microsoft tech, but instead uses the logical assumption the TECH has made an error CONSISTENTLY, none of the solutions provided actually work. Does anyone out there actually know how to solve this problem? Clearly the Microsoft tech does not.
